Re: Jean

Oh, yes! Jean is one of my favorite names for a girl. It is so sweet and simple and makes me hear bagpipes. :-) And the nn Jeanie is so cute. I considered using Jean for a girl years ago.
It's refreshing to see Jean as a fn. As a mn it's tired and almost depressing to me.
Of your combos, my favorites are:
Jean Cecily
Jean Clarimonde (I don't know why, but this one really works for me, against the odds)
Jean Elinor / Eleanor
Jean Elspeth
Jean Imelda
Jean Isobel
Jean Lilias
Jean Rosalind
Jean Susanna / Susannah
Jean Winifred
You can't see it just now, but I'm clapping with my feet. :-)
