Yea for Maurice. And I like both the English and the French pronunciations equally. I met my first Maurice a while back here in the U.S. He's in his 30's and uses the French pronunciation. Meeting it on a real person suddenly made it "useable" to me. I also like Moritz and absolutely adore Muiris ("MYOOR-ish").
