I've know twin boys named Taylor and Tyler- that's a terrible twinset.
Obi and Ty is cute. And at least they have separate names. Obidiah isn't a name I'd used, but the nn Obi is interesting and fits with Ty.
Ty is quite popular right now, especially with Dads. I can't imagine a kid name Ty hating his name. Ty sounds like a jock type name- football player, hockey player, etc.
