I don't think it's that bad. I'm not crazy about the idea of using both Nathan and Nathaniel, but at least they're only the middle names and not the first names. Nathan and Nathaniel would be worse than Obidiah and Ty even though Obidiah and Ty aren't names I'd use myself. Ty on its own doesn't bother me, but I think that Obidiah and Nathaniel sound better together than Obidiah and Ty.
