What do you think of these Irish names for a kid in the US?
Fintan or Fionntan
Eamonn
Brodie
Aodhan (pron. Aidan)
Tadhg or Teague
Lachlan (ok, this is the Scottish spelling but I prefer it to Lochlann)

Oh! This is rather hard! I love love love Gaelic spellings of Irish and Scottish names! But the hard part is that people in the USA tend to pronounce things how they look. But I live in the USA and I'm planning on using the Gaelic spelling Ciaran instead of Kieran because I just love the C spelling so much! :)
Fintan or Fionntan - I think Fintan is nice and nicce.
Eamonn - is okay
Brodie - would go over fine or Brody
Aodhan (pron. Aidan) - this would be too hard to pronounce of I'd use this spelling instead of Aidan as my 2nd favorite boys name! I like this spelling because it looks so masculine! :)
Tadhg or Teague - Tadhg would be too hard to pronounce for most people in the USA but Teague would be better.
Lachlan (Lochlann) - Lachlan would work perfectly well in the USA but I don't think Lochlann would do that well!
I really love Gaelic spellings and if I could I'd use Caitriona, Aoife, Beitris, Aodhan and many more! :)

I'm in rural US. Not a lot of Finns here. I really like it.
Eamonn is nice (I like it: Eamon, the two ns seem redundant to me)
Brody -- means "ditch", one of my friends just name her son Brody. I don't care for it.
Aodhan -- will have prn problems for the rest of his life. I know, people constantly call me Stacie or Staci-ah and my name isn't even that hard. Aidan wouldn't have the same problem.
Tadhg -- same prn problem
Lachlan -- I like

I think Brodie would be good, but I wouldn't know as I live in Australia. :)
