Maybe you could use Caroline as a middle name.

Not at all. It's almost honoring your aunt in a way. My mom is Anne and my cousin (who we see often) is Anna, and this has never caused a problem.

Yes and what about Karolina, Karla, Carla or Carolina?

I don't think so.

No, because...In my opinion, Caroline and Carolyn are pronounced differently. Caroline is Care-O-line whereas Carolyn is Care-ah-lyn. They are a bit different, but still close. Unless you see your aunt all the time I don't think it is an issue.

I think it's ok, especially if you don't pronounce these names the same way.But obviously, it also depends on the kind of relationship you have with this aunt. I like the name Viviane but I don't see myself using it for this reason. If you are close to her then it is nice, if you aren't I wouldn't bother, it doesn't really look like there was a connexion in my opinion (and she will probably know it).
