WDYTO Niamh?
I'm really liking Niamh lately. I'm pronouncing it like NEEVE. I'm a bit iffy about the spelling though - I just don't love the way it looks when its written down if you get what I mean. Not to worried about pronunciation, people will learn. I quite like the combo Isobel Niamh or Niamh Isobel. Like either? Any other combo suggestions? What are your favourite Celtic names?

I far prefer the look of it to the sound! And it does look good with Isobel ... Isobel Niamh for me, or Angela Niamh, or Rosalind Niamh. Though the only aggressively Celtic name I really go for is Maeve ...

I like it, but it sort of reminds me of the word "knee."Niamh Isobel is a beautiful combo.

Niamh is such a nice short sweet name, and Isobel Niamh is lovely. The spelling is a bit un-phonetic for English speakers, but I'd definitely choose it over Neve. Some other Irish names I like:
Oisin
Tadhg
Cathal
FiachraGrainne
Ailbhe
Sorcha
Mairin

I like it, it's one of the few Celtic names I like. I'm not a huge fan of the category, but I like Saoirse, Siobhan and Padraic as well.

I adore Niamh. It was my little sister's name so it is very special to me. I would consider using it one day for sure, probably only as mn though. I really like the way it looks written down as well. I think Niamh looks so much better than Neve or Neeve at any rate. Niamh Isobel is beautiful...Isobel is my favourite spelling of that name too so extra points! Isobel Niamh is also nice but Niamh is a bit more special than Isobel. My favourite Celtic names? So many...My other sisters' names, Aoife and Eimear are way up there. I also love:
