I like this name a lot. Aside from it being in my family tree, Dr. Seuss's real name is Theodor, which greatly appeals to me as those books were such a big part of my childhood. (Though I prefer the Theodore spelling)

It is common as anything, but I will always love Theodore. Teddy is a sweet nickname.

I like Theodore, but I like Theodor even more (it's a more common spelling where I live)
If you don't like Theo, maybe Teddy could work? I think Thor could work too but it would be a little weird.

I think Theodore is a decent name. I don't consider it incredibly beautiful but it's nice. I think Theo is an ok nickname. Not a fan of Thor. Nicknames I'd use for Theodore: Ted, Teddy, Teo.
