Theodore?
1. WDYT of Theodore?2. I don't really like the nn Theo. Any other nn come to mind? Would Thor work as a nn for Theodore? 3. Any combo suggestions using Theodore as a fn? I usually put it as a mn in combos and am having trouble coming up with good combos using it as a fn.

I like this name a lot. Aside from it being in my family tree, Dr. Seuss's real name is Theodor, which greatly appeals to me as those books were such a big part of my childhood. (Though I prefer the Theodore spelling)I don't like any of the traditional nn for Theodore. Thor is okay. I think it may be a little out there, but if you are okay with it, more power to you. I like one of the other's suggestions of Rory. Combos:You can go a few different ways with Theodore. You can balance it with a more modern middle name.Theodore Riley
Theodore Cooper
Theodore Jackson
Theodore Mason
Theodore Evan
Theodore LoganOr you can keep it with a traditional name.Theodore James
Theodore William
Theodore Anthony
Theodore Gabriel
Theodore RobertOr you can pair it with a much older name.Theodore Alaric
Theodore Basil
Theodore Calvin
Theodore Ignatius
Theodore Marcellus
Theodore Willoughby

It is common as anything, but I will always love Theodore. Teddy is a sweet nickname.

I like Theodore, but I like Theodor even more (it's a more common spelling where I live)
If you don't like Theo, maybe Teddy could work? I think Thor could work too but it would be a little weird. Theodore Barnabas
Theodore Lucas
Theodore Edwin
Theodore Noah
Theodore William
Theodore Carlisle
Theodore Everett
Theodore Atticus
Theodore Nolan
Theodore Nicholas

1. Love! It's soooo cuddly and warm and kind. I'd consider using it.2. I don't either. I love Teddy for a little boy, and don't mind Ted. I also like the idea of using Rory. Thor could work, but I think Thor is kind of funnny. It's over the top.3. Theodore Bryn is my current combo, but I'm not totally satisfied with it anymore. Theodore Charles, Theodore Morgan, Theodore Walter, Theodore Elliot, Theodore Henry?

I think Theodore is a decent name. I don't consider it incredibly beautiful but it's nice. I think Theo is an ok nickname. Not a fan of Thor. Nicknames I'd use for Theodore: Ted, Teddy, Teo.
