Marcia/Marsha
What do you think of this in-limbo name? I thought about it in the shower this morning and thought it was actually pretty cool. I am soo sure that the hipsters are gonna catch onto my ugly name trend, and Marsha has hipster wiitten all over it.Do you prefer Marcia or Marsha?Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.as my mom would say.

Well, I pronounce them both differently so they are different names to me - Mar-see-a and well, Marsha. I think they are both dated and not particularlay attractive so not ready for a comeback just yet. I would probably prefer Marsha over Marcia. I'm not a fan of the "ugly name trend" personally!

I once read an Italian novel which featured the character of a Hollywood actress named Marsha Mellows.

MarshaMarsha looks better.

Marcia "MAR-see-uh" isn't bad. But Marsha is ugly and dated, in my opinion. It also reminds me of the character Marsha in "Spaced".

I prefer Marcia much more. The SHA sound in Marsha seems harsh to me.:0)

I greatly prefer Marcia. BTW, my dd has a little friend from India named Marcia except she pronounces it mar-CEE-a. It's kind of pretty that way.

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!I grew up watching Brady Bunch re-runs. ;)I think it's cool, and like Martha could definitely catch on.

This name makes me laugh for some reason (probably because of that Brady chick) but it's cute. I like Marsha.

Aw, I was thinking of the name Marcie and I just saw this. Good timing!I'm not a fan of Marsha, I'd say Marcia. For some reason I see it as a bitchy girl's name though. Marsha is softer, and less pretty.

Not a fan. It's just, I don't know, dowdy and dated. Marcia is marginally better, I suppose.
