I like Freya. I pronounce it FRAY-a. I think it's picking up in popularity, but I don't think it'll become really popular in the near future in the US. I don't know anyone. I like goddess names, I don't find anything wrong with them. I don't think there's any glaring teasing potential. I'd spell it Freya, just because I'm sure there will be Americans who'd pronounce Freja FRED-ja. Even more so, Freja will get misspelled. I'd get Kaja, Freja, and Ronja mixed up because they rhyme, but I easily get things like that mixed up.
