The potential to be teased with 'virgin' is there but kids will tease anything that's abnormal to them or comical. Virginia is such a classic and beautiful name that I wouldn't even worry about the teasing. Ginny is a wonderful nickname and my granddad has known a Virginia nn Ginny. Did you know that ginny is referance to a female mule? I'm sure very few know of this since these days most people are more urban. All in all I like Virginia and encourage you to keep it on your list :o)
