Dahlia/Dolly
WDYTO Dahlia nn Dolly (not necessarily like a "use all the time" nn, but more like a "use sometimes" nn)? The name came to me because my great-uncle Ernst died over the summer (he was like a grandfather to me) and he always called me Dolly. Anyone have opinions/interesting combo ideas? TIA

I love it! I call my two year old daughter Dolly all the time. Someone once stopped me and asked me if it was her given name, as her name (the woman asking) was Dolly-a nn for Dorothy.
Dahlia nn Dolly is adorable!!

Dahlia is a lovely name. Dolly would work as a nickname for Dahlia, but I don't really care for Dolly. I prefer Lia.

I love Dolly, albeit as a nickname for Dorothy -- I'm also fond of Dahlia, albeit to a lesser degree.

I love Dahlia, though I prefer Dalia. As for Dolly, I' m not a big fan but it's ok as a "use sometimes" nn.
