I love Danica, I love the meaning and it shares a sound element with my husband, so it would be like honoring him. I don't know anything about NASCAR, so I don't have that association. It is the name of a coworker of my husband, not someone we particularly want to honor, so I would feel weird about actually using it. I could see myself using it as a middle name to honor hubby, but would probably use Alexandra first. And I'd probably only use it if hubby suddenly died. :(
