My favorite F girl name is probably Freya or Frances. Fay I find hoary at the moment.

Fay is insubstantial, born to be a mn, but Freya is darkly gorgeous; plus, Freya Stark was an amazing explorer. I also like Fiona and Flora.

I definitely love Freya, and it's also my middle name too. NOt too fond of Fay though

I don't like Freya. I prefer Faye.

Fay is nice, although I prefer the spelling Faye. It's nice that it means 'fairy', it gives it a sweet feeling.

Freya I love! It's such a pretty name and on my list to possibly be used one day.

I think Freya is much, much nicer than Fay. I've always thought Fay is on par with Sharon, Karen, Carol etc - very dated and part of that group of names that are old fashioned but will never experience a revival like many old fashioned names have.

They're both quite nice. I like one-syllable names so Fay appeals, and it's got that whole Fay Wray retro thing which is fun. Freya is also short and has history, but isn't overused, and I like the sound of it.

I like Frances and Fernanda and Fairuza. Ffion, Flora, Finola and Frieda are nice too and Fuchsia is a bit of a GP.

Fay is has a pretty sound, but it's also a bit retro. I think combos with this name could either sound very modern, feminine, and unique, or they could fall into the trap of sounding very dated and stereotypical.

Freya is good on paper, but I'm not sure how I'd like it outside of it being a concept. Again, it's dependent on the combo. If I had to choose between the two, I'd pick Fay.

My favorite F-name is hard to choose. Right now, it's a dead tie between Finola and Francesca.

I prefer Freya to Fay. Fay is a little too boring for me. Freya is spunky and fun :)

They have their individual merit, it's hard to choose. I think I like Fay best as a mn, while Freya has more fn potential IMO. But I do liek them equally.

Fay os boring, and Freya seems to be the new trendy name in the US and UK? It's popular here in Sweden too, but with the spelling Freja. Iam tired of it (there is a couple of Freja's in every BA's) but I still like the name.
I also like Fiona and Filippa.

I like Fay but not Freya. I'd use it as a first name with something longer and frilly in the middle.
I like Frances, Fleur, Fiona, Francesca. I would like Finley if it weren't so trendy.
