Elias
And how are we feeling about this one today? ;)Do you like Elias, Elijah or Ilya better?I am really feeling good about Elias, personally, and it's never a name I liked before now. It HAS to be pronounced eh-LIE-is though

I like the name. My DH has an uncle with this name, but they pronounce it as EEL-ee-us. I prefer the name Elijah though.

I love Elias and it is a name I would like to use as a middle name. I like Elijah and Ilya, but Elias is my favorite. It's not very common, but still a simple classic.

I love Elias and that's my preferred pronunciation as well.

I do like Elias, it's a strong, handsome, uncommon-but-not-unusual type of name. I prefer Elijah though, that name I love!! =)

I love Elias (pronounced eh-LEE-ahs) a lot. I'm sad it's so popular here. I like it a lot more than Elijah and Ilya.

It's one of the few biblical names I like. And I pronounce it eh-LIE-is. I like Elias better than Elijah or Ilya. I've never liked the name Elijah for some reason, and Ilya is just weird.

I've always liked it, though never necessarily loved it. It has a good, wholesome sound.

Elias is way to popular here. It was ranked 4 in 2008 and 3 in 2007. I don't really like Elijah either, but I like Ilya.

Love, love, love Elias, Elijah and Eli, but my preference has always been Ilias or Ilyas. I like Ilya, too, but wouldn't name a child that. I also love Eliseo, the Spanish form of Elisha.

I always feel good about Elias :) For me, it's a refreshing spin on Elijah and the nn Eli works great for both names.

Agreed. 'eh-LIE-is' for me, too. I really, really like it and it's a nice name that's not too out there, but not commonplace.
