I've never seen Mikula in Croatia before either.
Hrvoje is pronounced 'HRV-o-yeh', 'r' needs to be soft, but I've yet to meet an American who can do it;-) (and just for fun Croatia in Croatian is Hrvatska, lol)

an interesting side-note; the word cravat comes from the croatian for Croatia!
