Horrible. That's not names. Poor children!!
I don't like them all that much either, but I I have to rank them:
Precious - Too saccharine but I'll admit it's kind of cute.
Treasure - The concept is at least nice.
Princess - I hate title names, except for Queen.

I think on the whole they're pretty tacky.
However, whenever I come across one it makes me envision the person as a newborn baby in her mother's arms, and the mother naming her Precious / Princess / Treasure because her baby is the most important thing in the world to her and that's how she views her. And then it makes me think of how everybody is (hopefully) the most precious thing in existence to somebody and it gets me thinking really really really deeply about humanity and philosophy and the concept of parental love.
So in that sense, I guess they get their purpose across.

If there is one person at BTN who likes them I will be really surprised. Sabrina Fair might have but she got so sick of being the ridiculed minority that she left
eh
She was ridiculed for homophobia, not for her taste in names.

You're right, most people who consider themselves 'name nerds' don't seem to favour these names, in my experience at least. Princess is in the top 1000 in the U.S.A. though, so apparently many people do like it.
Also, I thought it was more the reaction to Sabrina Fair's blatant homophobia that caused her to announce she was leaving, rather than people ridiculing her taste in names.

Better suited for teacup poodles than human beings. I think they are ridiculous.
I think they're stupid, but what's even worse is when they're spelled Preshiss, Prynsess, and Trayzher.
Absolutely.
I worked with someone whose sister's name was Preshus. She was a really nice girl by all accounts, and deserved something much less awful.

I don't care for them, but
I suggest reconsidering posts of this nature before putting them up. This isn't really an attempt at facilitating conversation about these names and may have been better suited for the polls.
Just my two cents.
