Virgil
On a baby boy. Thoughts?

No.
I do not think it works at all. Very harsh and hillbillyesque.

Cuuute
I love names that seem too big for a little baby, and this is definitely one of them. I would probably die of a cute overload if I met a little two year old Virgil.

Love it!

I've never liked it. It sounds like an old man to me, and it has always reminded me of a part of the female anatomy.
Too old-mannish for me.
I love it!
It's one of my favourites actually. I think it's manly and elegant, original without being eccentric.
It would make a nice first name.

When I was growing up, "Virgil" was slang for a guy who was still a virgin. The boys used it more than the girls, of course.
lol

My first thought was Thunderbirds!
But ignore that, I think it's a pretty cool name.

I LOVE the name Virgil.
I think it's decent, but that it makes a much better middle name. Tristan Virgil is one of my combos.
