Titus?
I think I'm on a spur of the moment 'Ancient Greek and Roman' phase... Last week I convinced a roommate to name his puppy Argus, and now I'm really starting to dig Titus for a little boy. I love the strong 'I' sound.
What's your overall opinion of the name? And more importantly, what would you pair it with? I'm at a loss for potential middle names or sibling pairings that aren't wholly over-the-top pretentious. :(

Funny that you should mention that, the other day I ran across a guy in his late teens/early twenties named Titus. It sounds nice, but it seems a bit too much for a name.
I like it (I'd 1000x rather see a little Titus than a Tyler or a Tyson!). I think it goes with classic standards like:
Titus Henry
Titus Alfred
Titus William
Titus James
Titus Peter
Titus Edward
Titus Richard
etc. Two Roman names together might be a bit much in a combo, but I think they'd look good in a sibset:
Titus and Julia
Titus and Tullia
Titus and Cassia
Titus and Claudia
Titus and Camilla
Titus and Aurelia
Titus and Lucilla
Titus and Livia
Titus Henry
Titus Alfred
Titus William
Titus James
Titus Peter
Titus Edward
Titus Richard

Sorry, but all i hear is "tight arse."
Not bad. I know people who have this as a last name so that wouldn't work for me, but it is a nice name!
