People who have the nick-name "Sunny" often have a name that is nothing near it. I went to school with a boy named Sunny; his name was actually Robert.

I also know a girl whose given name is Sunny. I wouldn't call a child that, myself, but it's not terrible...perhaps I feel like that because I like this girl.
