Carmine
Coworker and I were talking about babies last night; she and her husband are going to start TTC in January.
If it's a boy, they'll name him Carmine. I can't remember the MN, though, sorry! Her grandfather's name was Carmine.
A girl will be Sophia Giada.
They already have a (super adorable!) little girl called Gianna Marie.

From an Italian POV it's a very old-mannish, and somewhat working-class name. I can't imagine a Carmine under 65, I'm not surpised it's someone's grandfather's name.
I have a soft spot for Carmine even though it only makes me think of an overweight Italian mafia boss. Sophia Giada is nice.
Ew..
Carmine is a red pigment made from boiling dried cochineal insects.
