A school friend of mine had a mother called Honor who explained that the Latin form was used for the name! I've certainly never seen Honor used as a name in the American context, and equally I've never seen the English use Honour. I'm more used to seeing Honor as a name for Irish women/girls.Is Jessica Alba, whoever she is, English or American?

I've never seen the English use of Honour either.Honor is used as it is the Latin, yes.
