Re: Patrick

Patrick just sounds nice to me. Like you're never going to meet a mean or disagreeable Patrick. So friendly and dependable. The only downside to me is the possibility of Pat--I'm not a fan of Pat in any scenario--but nicknames are easy enough to avoid if you are persistent. I've heard far longer and more complicated names get by without being shortened, so I would consider Patrick's chances to be excellent. Odd thing, but I tend to like male P names together as sibsets. I'm not normally a matchy person but the idea of brothers Patrick, Peter, Paul, or Philip just sounds pleasant to me. Not sure why.Patrick could go with anything, couldn't it? A more classic take:Patrick William
Patrick Stephen
Patrick Anthony
Patrick Francis
Patrick Jeremiah
Patrick Robert
Patrick Joseph
Patrick Emmanuel
Patrick LawrenceOr maybe be a little less predictable with:Patrick Cassian
Patrick Terence
Patrick Niles (Miles? Giles?)
Patrick Leo (Leo certainly on the up and up, but I still think it gives a little interesting punch; or if not maybe Leon)
Patrick Kenelm
Patrick Douglas
Patrick Reid / Reed / Read
Patrick Rhett
Patrick Fabian
Patrick Damian

It is such a kind and friendly name. And he could always be called Patch. I've also come across a Rick and a Tricky - nms, but avoids Pat.
All your combos are nice, especially Patrick Kenelm. And I love the sibset Patrick, Peter, Paul, and Philip!

PatchI knew a Patrick in university whose very close friends called him Patches. It was very endearing.
