Wow. A stellar list. If only I had the same reaction when looking at BA lists here in the U.S. It's particularly nice seeing Alice, Cornelia, Dorothea, Elin (an underappreciated gem), Emil, Evelina, Gustav, Hugo, Ines, John, Josephine, Linus, Livia, Noel, Wilma.I don't care for Wilma in English. I assume the "w" is pronounced like an English "v," right? "VEEL-muh" or "VIL-muh" is very pretty.

I like Alice, Ebba, Esther, Hilma, Ines, Cornelia, Dorothea, Ofelia, Erik, Elias, Olof, Linus and Alexander.I don't like nicknames as full names: Ellie, Elli, Elsi, Emmie (I can't stand this), Chris, Nicki and Harry.Hailey, Kayleigh and Graeme are weird on Swedish kids. But when I see very English names on Swedish kids I assume that they have an English parent. Elijaz is terrible.

It's great to see Esther being used. It's a favorite of mine and I love that it has such international appeal. Most of these do really.
