Adelaide
I'm really liking Adelaide lately, NN Ada or Addie. WDYT?

I love this name!
It's very pretty and not very popular yet, although i imagine it will become so in a few years. I prefer it without a nickname but i prefer Addie to Ada
I dislike the name Adelaide more than most classic names. I do not like the "laid" syllable.
Ada, however, is one of the most beautiful names there is, on its own. I also think Adeline outshines the beauty of dowdy, awkward Adelaide by a mile.

Ada Beatrix
Ada Catherine*
Ada Ruth
Adeline Susannah*
Adeline Mary
Adeline Ruth

Thanks for the suggestion, but to me, Adeline is the dowdy, awkward name. :)
I love Ada, but hate Adelaide, I hate that there is the word "laid" right in the name!
Very nice, especially the nn Addie.
Although I must admit the 'laid' sound in Adelaide does annoy me a little, I still love the name.

I love Adelaide too. It's such an awesome name! I'd probably use the nickname Addie more than Ada, but both sound good.
I love it. It's my fallback name: I flirt with a lot of other more exotic names but if I ever had a girl Adelaide would be the name I'd actually use. Both Ada and Addie are adorable but I've decided that Adelaide is too beautiful for a nn to me.
It is a cute name. Has a somewhat old-fashioned vibe to it which is nice.
I like it, but I'd only use it for a mn.
Adi or Addie is probably the best nn.

It's my daughter's name, so I'm very biased. I love Adelaide. I love saying it, I love seeing it, I love hearing it. Love that it has a hundred and one nicknames.
My little Adelaide was Adda for ages, and went by Ada last year. Now her baby sister calls her Addie, which I find myself doing from time to time. Addie is cute, but childish. Ada would grow well.

I love Adelaide. It's strong and feminine and fun to say. Ada and Addie are my favorite nicknames for it as well.
My favorite combos for it are Adelaide Violet, Adelaide Fleur, Adelaide Pearl, and Adelaide Plum.
