Yes, and only on a boyI think it sounds pretty masculine, and spelling variations can't make it feminine in my mind. Rylee/Rylie just make it look like the mom can't spell.

I prefer it on a boy. But it's not horrible on a girl (spelled Riley). I dislike Rylee, Rylea, Ryli etc. on either sex.
Reilly is 100% boy, though.

Prefer Reilly for boy, Riley or Rylie for a girlI usually don't like different spellings on common names, but with Riley, I think it's better to use the traditional Irish spelling for boys, leave the trendier spellings for girls.

I don't mind it, but actually prefer the name for a girl.

Wonderful.
I only like in on a boy.
My son's name too.

Not my style, but it's nice that it isn't too common. I knew a little Rylie once, he loved his name.

I've always liked it for a boy. I don't like that we are seeing it used more now for girls. :

I only like Riley on a boy. It sounds terrible on a girl.

I prefer Reilly.

I absolutely love the name Riley but sometimes I hope I marry someone with the last name Reilly just so I don't have to choose whether to use it on a boy or a girl! Currently Rylie is my #3 girls name and Riley is about my #6 boys name but it always changes. I do really like it though =)

Riley...
- boy for a middle name
- girl for either a first name or middle name

My great-great grandpa's name...and my great-grandpa, & my great uncle, & my little brother. :) I always feel like my progenitors are rolling in their graves whenever I meet a little girl with this name (or a cheap misspelling of it).

It's alright, I like it on both. And I prefer the spelling Riley on a boy and Ryley/ Rylee on a girl. Cuts back the gender mix up a bit.

I think it works equally well for both genders. It doesn't sound especially masculine to me but neither does it sound particularly feminine. So yeah, it definitely works for a boy, but please don't spell it Rylee or Rylie (I know a couple who named their son Baylee) because it makes the name look more feminine.

no no no! no Rylee/Rylie! i like Reilly spelling for a girl.

uhm ok. I never said I liked Rylee, just that you shouldn't use it on a boy bc it looks feminine

Love it. Amazing masculine name. Reilly is also a good spelling

It's nice enough, just not really my style. There is a little boy called Riley in my son's class who is a bit of a handful so i guess i think of him, but as i said it's nice enough

Snappy, modern, boyish, fun.

I don't like it for either gender. I'm not a fan of the surnames-as-first-names trend.

Yes, please.

I like it just a little, but I think the name is better for a dog. :/
