Dharma
I keep thinking about this name lately. I can't decide how I feel about it.
Does it seem kinda frumpy to you? Does it remind you too much of Dharma and Greg?
Also I'm not sure if I could even imagine it on a little girl.
Wdyt?

Dharma Initiative!
Yeah, LOST is all I think of when I hear it. It's not even a name to me anymore.

It reminds me of the concept in Hinduism of the responsibilities and codes of conduct specific to your cast. It's described pretty thoroughly here: http://hinduism.about.com/od/basics/a/dharma.htm, but not being Hindu myself I can't tell you how accurate it is.
Edit: I forgot to mention that, for that reason, in addition to the sound, I don't much care for it.

Yes it does make me think about Dharma and Greg but I love the name.
Yes, it reminds me too much of Dharma & Greg. I knew a couple who named their daughter Karma, which, IMHO, isn't much better.
Too much of "and Greg" just because I have NEVER heard or seen it as a name in any other context. Sorry.
It doesn't sound frumpy, it actually sounds very hippy-ish. I don't really like the idea of naming something after a religious term, particularly if you don't follow that religion.
Makes me think of Lost.
