WDYTO Cordelia?
I used to really like it, then it sort of went out of my head, and now its back. So what do you guys think to it? Good name? What sort of person does it make you think of? Know any good combos?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It's quirky and fun to pronounce.
I think Cordelia is a strong, beautiful name.
It makes me think of Anne of Green Gables and of the character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel.

I only like it because of Anne of Green Gables. It makes me think of her.
I like it. I think the right person needs to pull it off, though. A plain or uninteresting Cordelia just wouldn't make sense.
Love it!
Ew.
I'm probably the only one who dislikes this name, and I dislike it a lot. It sounds pretentious and frilly in a bad way to me, and I really dislike the Cord- part. It makes me think of umblical cords, electric cables and strangulation.
I'm sorry, but this is one of the few names I actually hate.

I want to like it, but it's just too much for me at this time to consider using. It seems a bit frivolous, like Christabel.
Cornelius is a family name for me. Both Cornelius and Cornelia are dear to me. So I'm usually a little jealous of Cordelia. She's more frilly and princess-y and gets all the attention from poor, stalwart Cornelia.
But Cordelia IS pretty. I can't deny that. I've been relying on her more and more as a mn. Jane Cordelia is a combo that's been running through my head lately.
As a fn? Hmm. How about:
Cordelia Frances
Cordelia Sian
Cordelia Glynis
Cordelia Isobel
Cordelia Nerys
Cordelia Molly
Cordelia Elspeth
Cordelia Iris
Cordelia Wren
Cordelia Aisling
Cordelia Brigid
Cordelia Liv
Cordelia Sylvie
Cordelia Fleur (it sounds like a real flower -- a wild, meadow kind)
Cordelia Robin
Cordelia Winter
Cordelia Hester
Cordelia Maeve
Cordelia Mavis
Cordelia Juniper
Cordelia Sibyl
Cordelia Vivien
Cordelia Afton
Cordelia Avalon
Yes, no, maybe so? Thanks.

I like this name. It's old but new again. I could never use it, though, due to my last name :( It sounds almost EXACTLY like Cordelia lol!
