Wenceslas and Godwin
Thought about these names as I was raking leaves in my front yard this morning. What do you think? Usable or no? I thought they seemed rather delectably dark and romantic.

Hmmm...probably endless teasing would occur. Wenceslas strikes me in the same manner as Percival for some reason. Godwin seems cool, but the God part would make me not use it.

I like both. They are diffrent and lend to the imagination.

I think Wenceslas would be usable if you found a nickname for it. It would be a little tough to handle without one, I think, because the sounds are so unusual in English. Godwin is really nifty. It seems like it would suit someone who wore really soft grey sweaters and wore really hip thick-framed square black glasses and spent 12 hours a day in the library reading James Joyce novels.

Wenceslas and Godwin (prefer Godric and Godfrey) are GPs for me too. I say GP when I really mean "cool, but unusable." :-( When the obvious nn is God, you know you're waaaay out in left field.
Godwin makes me think of "Godwin's Law."

I don't think either of them as useable as first names, but I think you could get away with Godwin as a middle name. I have to say, I love Wenceslas, but in a "this is ridiculous" kind of way.
