Victoria
My friend has been mentioning this name a lot, and now it's beginning to grow on me. I've always liked it, but every time my friend talks about her friend Victoria, I like it more and more. What are your opinions of it? I don't like the nns Vicky nor Tori, by the way. Also, my friend says they call Victoria by the country she was adopted from -- Ukraine. I think it's kind of cool.

I like Victoria but not the NN Vickie/Vicky. Actually this is why my hubby and I didn't name our adopted daughter that. Also there're so many Vickie/Vicky around us -- cousins, friends, colleagues and so on. What a pity.Mom to Olivia and Aunt to Joseph, Michelle, Erica and AlexLilypie Baby Ticker

I really like Victoria. I don't like any of the nicknames. I would consider using it in the future.

I love the name Victoria! It's so pretty and sweet and royal. I've often thought of using it but it is rather popular. I hate the nn Vicky but I do like the nn Tori or Toria sometimes. I knew a little girl named Victoria Joy and her parents called her Tori-Joy a lot of the time and it just made the name cute to me. I don't think I'd use the nn all the time but I'd save it for family times.Victoria always makes me think of Queen Victoria who I love. Her story and era are fun to study and so that makes me like the name Victoria even more! :)Image hosted by Photobucket.comBunny, Gigi, Chloris, Wilma, Darleen, Eartha
