I'm biased because my name's Helen but I love it and I've always loved it. There's never been anyone else in my classes with the same name so it's always had a slightly unique timeless feel to me.
The only combination I can think of at the moment is mine which is Helen Mary

I prefer Ellen. If Ellen is a 10 then Helen is a 6.

I've always loved it. Helen of Troy, and all that! It reminds me of clear honey; Audrey reminds me of the thicker stuff!
And it's classic and timeless.

I have Rosemary Helen as a combo, but something really light with Helen would be really pretty. like Helen Iris or Helen Daisy...hmm not sure about those, how about Helen Amelia, Helen Daphne, Helen Lila, Helen Lucy...

Love it. I like it much more than Helena. Helen is my mom's name. Helen or Helena were three of her grandmothers'/step-grandmothers' names, so she thinks of it as more or less an old-lady name. She says that as a kid, she never felt like she "owned" it. She thinks it's fine now.

I'd use it as a middle name. My favorite combo is Sylvia Helen.

I hate it! It's so bland and sounds flat. Lacks oomph and pizazz.
