Re: Katherine and nicknames

I love Catherine but not Katherine for some reason, but that's just me. :b I love the nn Kat (or Cat), and I think it's MUCH better than Kate or Katie. Kit is kind of cute, but I'd stay away from Kitty. :-
I have a step-neice named Kathryn who is 4 months old and for now everyone calls her Kathryn, mostly. But the only reason we don't call her Katie is because that's the dog's name. LOL. Her mother is Mexican/Cuban, and she calls her Katie/Kathy, the Spanish pronunciation (KAH-tee), but many of us have started calling her Kitty Kat. So she may get Kit, Kitty or Kat as a nn. :)
