Lillian
I have grown to love this name again. How do you feel about this name without a nickname, just Lillian? Its #29 in popularity, but I have never met anyone with this name.

I don't find Lily attractive, and I don't find Lillian interesting either; but what's with the double L? Why not Lilian?

It's a lovely name, but I think she's bound to get Lily or Lil for short.

I don't like it, but for personal reasons. I once had a really dreadful teacher named Lillian, and I can't shake the image of her.

I love this name. If I ever have a daughter I want to name her Lillian.

Lillian, to me, is dated. I hear it on middle-aged women, but never on anyone younger than 40. The younger ones are usually called Lily, and I think it would be hard NOT to shorten Lillian to Lily, seeing as how Lily is an extremely popular name right now. You can try, but I think people would have a hard time of it.

I love Lillian. And while I do like Lillie as an occasional nickname, I love Lillian best without a nickname.

I think it's lovely. It's fine without a nickname.

I like it, too, but the popularity bothers me a little. I've met a little girl with this name, although she goes by Lilly. I like the sound of Lillian, without a nickname.
