There have to be at least 15 Katherines at my school.

I'm not even kidding. It's a great name, but after there are that many it gets kind of boring.
That's why I prefer Margaret.
We have a Margaret, too, but I don't know of any others.
Mary's also a great name. Mary Margaret? I've known a few of those. There's also Mary Alexandra.

Do they all go by Katherine?It would be so awesome to have a schoolful of Katherine nicknames. Kit, Kitty, Kate, Katie, Kay, Kathy, Katya - way nifty.

A few go by Kate and Katie...we also have a Kit-Kat and a Kiki.Other than that, they all just go by Katherine.

I agree completely.We have to have about 15 of those at my school too (well, the variations, like Katelyn and Caitlin, at least). The one who spells it Kaitlyn goes by Kait (and she once admitted it was weird...our teacher said "No, it's just different). Makes me wonder how Kait likes her name...probably not much.
