I think all three are quite pretty and timeless. If I had to choose one for a daughter I'd probably pick Catherine, nn Cate or Cat. Second choice would be Margaret with nn Maggie. I don't like Elizabeth all that much and I don't like the nicknames for it: Liz, Lizzie or Beth? =/

I definitely hear Elizabeth the most often. I don't think Margaret will make a comeback, at least not for a while.
