I would pick Margaret simply because you don't see it as often now as you would Katherine and Elizabeth :) I would probably nn her Meg, Maggie or Mary.

I think Margaret has an unpleasing sound for some people. It's too "gruff" with the r's in it, imo, but I like it. Madeline/Madeleine seems classic as well but it's sound is more appealing to the ears.

I know of more Katherines/Katharines/Catherines and Elizbeths than I do Margarets.
