Isabeau is a gp of mine for a boy. I think I've taken too much French because personally, I consider Isabeau to be more of a masculine name because it ends in -beau. Isabelle would be the feminine name since it ends in -belle. That's my reasoning behind it anyway.
As a name (with out defining if it's masculine or feminine) I like it a lot, both the look and sound of it.
I much prefer Isabel (or Isabelle) for a girl.
