HelpRe: A boy named Cool...and other UK birth announcements

Wasn't Cool the name of the child in the movie "Parenthood" - the biracial son of the brother to Steve Martin's character - which sounds confusing. He leaves Cool with the grandparents.
Anyway, awful name.
I see Jamie quite often here in the US as an official name - but for girls. I rarely hear it for boys anymore.
