Hilary
What do you think of Hilary (with one l, not the surnamey Hillary)for a girl?

Hilary, this spelling, is my older sister's name. So I'm obviously biased. But I do love it. Hilary Patricia, meaning happy noblewoman. And it fits her to a tee. My mother's nn for her was Hildy Mary, which makes no sense at all, but nns don't have to. :-)
Growing up in the 70's, she hated her name because it was so unusual here in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. But now she loves it.

I have never cared for it. There is just something very dull about to me, but I do love the Italian version of Ilaria.
I've always hated it. I hate the "Hil" part. This is my stepsister's name.
It's very much tied to Hilary Clinton, which, depending on your political beliefs, is either a good thing or a bad thing. The name itself is very preppy and cheerful.
It's completely unappealing to me for both a girl and a boy. The sound of it said out loud just makes me shudder.
It's the form I was always familiar with until Ms Clinton came along, so I prefer it as more in line with its origins and less fussy.
As a name, I quite like it; not enough to consider it myself, but it's got a good meaning and a happy, dancing rhythm. And I've known some good ones!
