I'd say KYER-stin, wherein "kyer" rhymes with "air." I know the j in many Scandinavian/Germanic languages is pronounced like the English y, which is why I'd say it that way. I've met a Dutch girl named Majken, pronounced "my-ken," and Freja is pronounced the same as Freya.
