Personally, Its not my taste. It sounds ever so old, and its lost its bounce. I feel something like Serena or Matilda sound bouncy and fun. Ginevra just sounds so boring to my taste, but that shouldnt put you off the name, as Im only saying my personal feelings towards the name.
Nev and Evra are all possible nicknames for Ginevra. But if you had the name Ginevra, most people would most likely called you Ginny.
