I like the lu-chee-ah pronunciation in theory, but not in practice, unless you live in Italy.I like all three pronunciations, but right now i'll say loo-sha is my favorite. :)

You canput shorter subjects and then the rest of the text in your message, FYI. It's a friendlier format for keeping the board readable.

I agreeYes, please consider doing this! Honestly it bothers me when long subjects are used instead of a message and the board just looks happier and cleaner with shorter subject headings.

I like Lucy-ah the best. I hate loo-CHEE-ah, it reminds me of a Chia pet...

Lucy-ah.

I think loo-CHEE-ah is the prettiest. I love it.

LOO-sya. The pronounciation you mentioned is the Italian one, isn't it? I find it a bit harsh due to the -ch sound.

I like loo-CHEE-ah, but I slightly prefer LOO-see-ah. Like Lucy with an A.

It's nice, but I pronounce it "loo-SEE-ah".

loo-SEE-ah or loo-THEE-ah. I think the Italian pronunciation is terribly ugly.

I pronounce it LOO-sha. Loo-CHEE-a is fine, just not my preferred pronunciation.

I pron. it loo-CHEE-uh and I love this pronuciation :)

loo-CHEE-ah is the standard Italian pronounciation of Lucia, so I'm used to it, though possibly I prefer pronounced it loo-SEE-ah the Spanish way.

I prefer the pronunciation of loo-SEE-ah and that is the one I would use if I used the name. I also like loo-CHEE-ah and loo-THEE-ah. I dislike LOO-sha.

I would say loo-SEE-ah, but were it Luciana, I love loo-chee-AH-na

Lucia..Loo CHEE ahthat is exactly how I'd pronounce it. the Italian way. its my Italian friends mums middle name, and the name of one of her cousins.the other pronunciations seem weird to me, even though they are all legit.

I think I like LOO-sha the best. It is a nice name that way or Loo-SEE-ah as well.

I would pronounce it loo-CHEE-ah.

I actually alternate between loo-CHEE-ah and loo-SEE-ah. I like them both equally well.

I'd say loo-SEE-ah (the Spanish pronunciation). I like it better than loo-CHEE-ah, but I tend to like Spanish names better than Italian names, probably because I've had more exposure to Spanish.
