Approximate sound would be AY-na (ay=French é).ETA: Ena, pronounced the way I described, is a Portuguese interjection meaning 'yay', 'wow', and so on.

I would pronounce it ENN-ah.

I'm inclined to pronounce it EH-na, but I assume an English speaker would go for EE-na (which for me would be Ina).

ENN-ah, but then I know where you're from and how it should be pronounced.

ENNa-ah; first glance, especially since I know you're Croatian.

I've only ever heard of this name as a Scottish form of Helen (I think), pronounced "EE-nuh." I'm thinking of the member of the English royal family that married into the Spanish royal family in the 1920's. She was known as Ena / "EE-nuh."
