Janet

I'm not really a fan, I find it dated. I can't picture it on a little girl.
I don't like it. It's reminds me of Judy, which is also a dated name.
I have always far preferred my own similar-yet-different name, Janice, to Janet, and always been very glad that my parents chose Janice and not Janet.
To me, Janet is harsh, while the ending of Janice softens the name immensely and makes it more attractive.
Not that I think my name is the best one out there or anything, I just think it's far superior to Janet.
I've known many more Janets in my life than other Janices, so I think that Janet must have been more popular.
Anyhoo, not a big fan of Janet, it's undeniable that it's dated, but a little Janet today would stand out. But somehow it's hard to picture a baby Janet.

My daughter has a good friend named Janet, they're four. It's actually my friends daughter, and it really suits her.
I quite like it - it's simple and sweet and there aren't many of them these days. I am also reminded of Rocky Horror, but this is not a bad thing. :)
it's not bad. I hardly hear Janet anywhere these days, so it's refreshing!
