Trease
I watched Girls of the Playboy Mansion today (yeah, I know) ;) but one of the ex-playmates had a little girl named Trease. I thought it was interesting. So what do you think of Trease?

Yeah I saw that the other day too, I totally forgot about it. Teresa is better. :)

Pronounced like 'Trees'? The word 'Tease' but with an 'r' in it? No. I don't like it at all.

It was probably Therese.

It just looks like a mispelled for Therese, I've heard some people pronounced Therese almost like Trease.

It looks like "tease" and sounds like "trees." I'll pass.

"I talk to the Trease..."
It is really weird. I wonder what name the mother was aiming at? It actually looks a bit like Treasa (an Irish spelling of Theresa / Teresa, pronounced Trasa), but I'm willing to bet it's not even remotely Irish.

When I first heard it I thought it might be Therese (with the English pr.). I assumed they didn't know how to spell it. But I saw it written down and heard them say it and it was spelled Trease sounded like TREEZ. I thought it was a bit weird it makes me think of "tease".I googled it and apparently it's a surname so maybe they were honoring someone. For some reason it made me think of the name Brooke only that I find Brooke much prettier.

Hehe, thats funny,'cuz in that context, I read Tease instead of Trease.
And that brought to mind Strip Tease, which personally, I wouldn't like to be associated with automatically by my name.

Weird name - It looks like a nn for icky Treasure, or a spinoff of Treasure, Theresa and Treacle (good name for a cat!), all rolled into one!

I think it sounds too much like "treats" for me to take it seriously. Yuck.
