Lilac

I seem to be going through my list and so many of my favourites are too matchy with DD Scarlett. When I think of Lilac, I think of the flower, not the colour- thoughts?
What is your general impression of Lilac and how would you picture someone with the name? How is it with Scarlett and Malcolm??

Lilac Maureen is sweet.
Lilac and Scarlett are shades apart - after all, the origin of "lilac" is "blue".
I think primarily of the flower when I see the name.

When I think of Lilac I think of both the colour and flower. I love this name and don't understand why it never caught on like the other florals. Its spunky, sweet and feminine.

Lilac makes Maureen shine! it's a very pretty combo.I do feel, however, that Lilac and Scarlett are quite matchy in terms of the colour - it's the first thing I thought of. What about Lila or Leila Maureen?

To me, Lilac is a gp or for litterature, not a real person. Although, you could call her Lila and people wouldn't give you a strange look.
