It sounds too feminine for a boy. How about,
Roman
?

Oh
I was ok with it for a girl, but not a boy. Maybe Rome for a boy.

No, not on a boy. Its very feminine sounding.
Roman
for a boy is definitely better.

I like
Roman
on a boy and
Roma
on a girl. No switching and swapping for me.

Hate it. I also loath
Romy
(any sex).

Not good for a boy at all. It screams femininity to me. Maybe as a silly nickname to
Romulus
or something. I suggest
Luca
which is also the name of another Italian city.

I agree that
Roma
seems feminine to me.
Luca
would be a nice option.
