Harriet
WDYT of Harriet/ Harriett? It's been growing on me a lot lately. Is it still too outdated, or would it be fresh on a little girl?Alos, WDYT of the spelling Harriett?

I adore Harriet and along with Mathilda and Henrietta they are my top three at the moment.
As for combos, if you don't want to use Mathilda as a fn for a sibling, how about Harriet Mathilda?
I personally prefer Harriet to Harriett, unless it's Harrietta.

Harriet's one of my most steadfast favorites! I think the name would be darling on a little girl.I strongly dislike Harriett, though.

I love Harriet, and I would love to see it on a little girl. I don't like the spelling Harriett... that's incorrect and looks unbalanced.

Very old ladyish, imo.

I really like Harriet - and love Hattie as a nickname for it.I only like the spelling Harriet.I think it would be nice to see/hear it on a little girl.

One of my best friends names is Harriet. I used to think the name was dated and stuffy but knowing a Harriet has made me like it.

Harriet is great. I probably have to say that as I have several relations called Harriet who are all bigger than me, but I still like it.
Harriett and Harriott were common Victorian variants in the UK: I keep seeing them on gravestones, which puts me off a bit.

I, for one, like it very much. I don't think it is currently too outdated, but poised for a comeback. It's comfortable, and unusual for a little girl, but also quite stylish.Harriet Agnes
Harriet Amelia
Harriet Elizabeth
Harriet Eliza
Harriet Eleanor (normally I don't do these repeated rhythms, but this doesn't bother me so much)
Harriet Olivia

I really dislike it because I personally know a horrible Harriet. I prefer Henrietta.

I never paid much attention to Harriet - but actually... I like it.
Is it still too outdated... I don't know, I think it would be rather refreshing to see it on a little girl.
I prefer the "simpler" spelling Harriet.
