I think it's a cool name for a girl if your parents are named Harold and Evelyn. Otherwise I think it's a boys name. My grandpa's name was John Harlan.

I actually think it's kind of cute. But it does remind me of the male name Harlan

It reminds me too much of Harlem. Harlyn just isn't ... that good to me. They should've just named her Evie or Harriet.

I don't like it at all. It's just sounds too made up for my tastes.
