Leona
My great grandmother's name was Lottie Leona and I would like to honor her somehow. I like Leona but wanted your opinons on whether or not it would work better as a first name or middle name. Also, do you have any suggestions with this name? :)

I know a Leona and she's a trip. Very smart and quite the individual. Leona has a very strong feeling, to me. Very retro. :-)I love the nn Lottie for Leona. Or was her fn Lottie and her mn Leona? Either way, you asked for Leona combos, so here goes:Leona Sylvie
Leona Margaret / Margot
Leona Helen
Leona Iris
Leona Charlotte (adds the "Lottie" element)
Leona Frances
Leona Marion
Leona SibylCharlotte Leona
Margaret / Margot / Margery / Marjorie Leona
Rebecca Leona
Vera Leona
Kirsten Leona ("KEER-sten")
Ingrid Leona
Frances Leona
Renata Leona (= Leona reborn)
Hedy LeonaYes, no, maybe so?By the way, have you considered variant Leonie ("LEE-uh-nee" in English, "LAY-uh-nee" in French) instead? Or Lena? Just a thought.

Her actual name was Lottie Leona. I thought Lottie was short for Charlotte but nope, it was Lottie. I like Leona Margaret (very "classic" imo), Renata Leona
(very strong and I like the meaning) and Marion Leona. I like the idea of bringing Mary back for a nn possibly for Marion ;) Lena is really pretty :) I like that! Thank you!
